David Ludden Participated in Western States Collegiate Sales Competition

David Ludden, a resident of Lake Forest, CA, recently competed in the Western States Collegiate Sales Competition.

Four Cal State Fullerton's Mihaylo College business majors gave winning sales pitches at the 9th annual Western States Collegiate Sales Competition on April 19 at Cal State Chico. Mihaylo College team members took home eight of the 24 awards at the competition. The team was required to prepare a sales presentation representing their "clients," ADP and TekSystems, in a 12-minute role-play environment. Competing against 12 other university teams, Mihaylo's winning pitches placed second overall.

The Mihaylo College of Business and Economics' Sales Leadership Center has been included on the Sales Education Foundation's top university sales program list, which showcases universities with verified sales programs, a minimum of three sales-specific courses and internship opportunities. The campus center, created in 2008, offers a sales training program that results in a Certificate in Professional Sales.
