Erika Rivera Studies Abroad Through CSUF Mihaylo College of Business and Economics

Erika Rivera, of Moreno Valley, CA, spent the 2012 winter break studying abroad in Nantes, France, through a program of CSUF Mihaylo College of Business and Economics. Rivera is a Management major.

The Nantes study abroad course is a rigorous academic program hosted by Audencia School of Management, one of the prestigious 'grande ecole' private universities in France. During the 3-week course, Mihaylo students developed personal insights into business practices and culture in France and the European Union. In addition to meeting with several global businesses and European Union commissioners, students experienced first-hand the complexities of international business through consulting projects with Chereau Carre vineyard and the Port Atlantique Nantes Saint-Nazaire. Mihaylo students also interacted with Audencia students, explored the shops and historical sites in Nantes, Paris, and Brussels, and immersed themselves in the European lifestyle.
